Preceding his call to
ministry in 2001, Darrell worked in construction and construction
management for many years. From education and work in Texas
to projects in Louisiana and his home state of Colorado, the
Hobbs family has had the opportunity to live in some beautiful
and culturally diverse areas. He is an alumnus of Lamar University
in Beaumont, Texas and Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar,
Missouri.
Darrell and his wife, Pam, along with their children, Darci,
Jacob, and Joshua, moved to Missouri from Arvada, Colorado.
Growing up in Colorado gave Darrell a love and appreciation
for God’s creation. Camping, motorcycling, gardening,
hunting and fishing are some of the many ways that Darrell enjoys
the outdoors.
