Prior to coming to
Springfield in February of 2005, David was in student ministry
in Denver, Colorado for over 4 years. David has served in churches
in his home state of Texas and received his call to full time
ministry in 2000.
A native of Texas, David graduated from Lamar High school in
Arlington, attended Tarrant County Junior college, and has
done undergraduate work at University
of Phoenix and most recently Liberty University. Prior to being called into
full time vocational ministry, David worked at TXU Corporation
in Texas, and lived
in a small town in East Texas.
David's hobbies include hiking, climbing, boxing,
reading, and enjoying time with his wife and children. David
and his wife Mindy have three children, Brandon,
Ashley, and April, and are also raising their grandson, Carson.
